HOW TO CROCHET A CINDERELLA BAREFOOT

Oh boy it’s hot over here!

During the day we’re trying not to do something that would makes us sweat more. In the afternoons you can find us on the beach… relaxing… Kids don’t yell all the time “mommy this” and “mommy that”. Oh and I talk to people older than 7 years. Yup! I love summer even it’s hot!

My kids are walking barefoot on the beach even they don’t like it at the beginning of the season but later they walk on the beach like they have shoes. So I made some barefoot sandals a few years ago to encourage my oldest to walk barefoot because it’s great for her feat. My youngest adores those sandals too…Shame on me because I haven’t made barefoot sandals for my son…Ninja for example ….but who knows…it’s a looong summer!

I made a Cinderella and a Snow White and here is how to crochet a  Cinderella barefoot.

For this pattern you need beige, blue and yellow cotton yarn, 2mm hook, needle with blunt top and scissors.

Abbreviations used:
– ch – chain
– slst – slip stitch
– sc – single crochet
– hdc – half double crochet
– dec – decrease
– yo – yarn over
– dec hdc – decrease half double crochet

dec hdc – decrease half double crochet

Yarn over (yo) and insert hook into the next stitch. Yo and draw the yarn through the stitch. Yo and insert hook into the next stitch. Yo and draw the yarn through the stitch. Now you should have 5 loops on hook. Yo and draw the yarn through all 5 loops on your hook.

I use this cotton yarn http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/unitas-mirabela , if you can’t buy this yarn in your store, you probably can find similar yarn http://yarnsub.com/yarns/unitas/mirabela .
